What the key tasks will look like
As an IT Agile Coach, you play a key role in supporting DKV’s transition toward a product‑oriented and Agile IT organization. You help shape and embed Agile ways of working while remaining closely involved in operational delivery teams.
This role combines strategic insight, hands‑on Agile coaching, and strong stakeholder collaboration. You will work closely with IT teams, Product Owners, management, and Business stakeholders to ensure that Agile practices create real and sustainable value.
Agile Coaching & Delivery
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the IT Agile and product operating model.
- Act as a hands‑on Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives, Daily Scrum).
- Remove impediments and actively support teams in delivering value.
- Coach teams and stakeholders in Agile mindset, practices, and continuous improvement.
- Translate Agile frameworks into practical, workable approaches aligned with DKV’s culture.
- Support backlog refinement, prioritization, and value‑driven delivery together with Product Owners.
Team Development & Collaboration
- Support the setup, guidance, and maturity growth of Agile and product teams.
- Help teams adapt to change, new ways of working, and evolving organizational structures.
- Act as a role model by demonstrating Agile behaviour in daily practice.
- Encourage collaboration, accountability, transparency, and ownership within teams.
- Support cross‑team collaboration and alignment where scaling is required.
Stakeholder & Communication
- Act as a bridge between IT and Business, translating technical topics into clear business language.
- Work closely with Product Owners, IT leadership, and Business stakeholders.
- Communicate progress, risks, and improvement areas in a clear and timely manner.
- Support a shared understanding of priorities, delivery expectations, and value creation.
Required Skills & Competencies
- 5–8 years of professional experience in IT delivery and/or transformation roles, with a minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Scrum Master and/or Agile Coach.
- Relevant Agile certification is required (e.g. PSM, CSM, SAFe, or equivalent).
- Fluent professional English, both written and spoken.
- Strong hands‑on experience with Agile frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban.
- Experience working with Agile operating models and/or product‑based organizations.
- Proven ability to set up, guide, and coach Agile teams.
- Ability to operate at both strategic and operational level in an Agile environment.
- Solid understanding of IT delivery, software development, architecture, and DevOps concepts (without needing to be a technical specialist).
- Strong coaching, facilitation, and influencing skills.
- Clear and effective communication with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders, including the ability to translate IT topics into business‑relevant language.
- Comfortable working in complex, evolving IT environments.
